Ceremony of Certificate Awarding: Kayah State CM attended the ceremony

The certificate awarding ceremony for trainees of the 8th intake of the three-year Nursing and Midwifery Diploma Course, Batch (29), of the Kayah State Nursing and Midwifery Training School (Loikaw) was held on December 24 at the State Hall in Loikaw.

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister delivered the opening address, stating that nurses play an indispensable role in Myanmar’s healthcare services. He expressed his pride and joy that, through three years of perseverance, diligence, and hard work, the trainees had achieved successful outcomes. He urged them to uphold gratitude and loyalty to the State, and to strive to become good nurses who can serve the interests of their state and the nation.

The Chief Minister then presented cash awards in recognition of the successful organization of the graduation ceremony, as well as honoraria to the dance troupes who performed with songs and dances. Representatives concerned received the awards.

Afterward, the Deputy Principal of the Nursing and Midwifery Training School (Loikaw) delivered the graduation address to the trainees who had earned their certificates, and the trainees performed the traditional “U Shwe Yoe Daw Moe” dance.

Subsequently, the Deputy Principal presented diploma certificates individually to each trainee. Following this, the Minister for Social Affairs presented departmental appointment orders assigning the newly qualified nurses to their respective posts.

The 27 trainees who received their diploma certificates at this ceremony will proceed to their assigned duty stations in various regions and states to undertake their responsibilities, it’s reported.
