Centralized e-Pension System: MEB enhances Pension System with e-ID integration

Myanma Economic Bank is working to modernize pension payments for retirees by integrating its Centralized e-Pension System with the Ministry of Immigration and Population's e-ID system. Retirees with UID numbers are being registered into the system at MEB’s 171 branches. Those without UID numbers are still being assisted, and pension payments continue as usual for those facing challenges due to age, health, or administrative issues. Retirees facing any difficulties can contact their respective bank branch managers for support.
