Census Collecting Process: Work undertakings inspected in Yangon Region

Chairman of the Union Election Commission (UEC) U Thein Soe, accompanied by the UEC members and officials, inspected the process of collecting basic census of Hmawbi and Mingaladon Townships at the General Administration Department Training School in Yangon Region on Saturday.

The UEC Chairman later went to Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Thingangyun Township and inspected the basic census work of Shwepyitha and Dagon Myothit (South) Townships, and gave instructions to the officials.

The UEC has set up two bases at the General Administration Department Training School in Mingaladon Township and the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Thingangyun Township.

Work processes are undertaking in cooperation with 194 staff from UEC, Union Territory, Bago Region, Ayeyarwady Region, Mon State and Yangon Region. Inspection will continue to the process of collecting basic census of the remaining townships in the Yangon Region.
