Cases Dropped: A Total Of 2,296 Cases Dropped

Those who were prosecuted under Section 505-A of the Penal Code in connection with the riots in Nay Pyi Taw and respective regions and states are dismissed under the law, according to the officials concerned.

A total of 2,296 cases were registered under the relevant laws and regulations, and all the cases were dropped in accord with the rules and regulations.

All the people concerned with the cases were sent back home on according to the laws and procedures. Authorities responded systematically to the release of the people and the parents and relevant relatives came and picked them up on their way back home.
