Capacity enhancement: Educational management workshop opened

The opening ceremony of educational management capacity enhancement workshop was held at Basic Education High School (6), Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw on 30th April with the attendance of Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing, council members, officials from the ministry of education, township education officers and head masters and mistresses.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr. Maung Maung Naing said that opening of this workshop aims at the capacity enhancement of school head masters and mistresses. 

The headmasters play the most important role in a school, their capacity is very much important for the education sector and they are the good managers.

During the workshop of multiplier training course, the subjects including administration, finance, education, auditing and statistics will be given.

Those will be greatly beneficial for the school headmasters and applicable in the worksite. Next, the director of the office of Nay Pyi Taw education officer U Aung Swe Oo clarified the purposes of opening educational management capacity enhancement workshop.

The workshop is being attended by a total of 79 trainees including the Township education officers and headmasters and headmastresses from the townships in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, it’s reported.
