Capacity building workshop: MoE Union Minister addressed the workshop

The Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyut Pe addressed the management capacity building workshop for the Township education officers and assistant directors held at the meeting hall of the office No (13) in the Ministry of Education, Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on October 16.

In his address, the union minister said that the multiplier courses for the principals with the knowledge and intelligence on the administration, finance, education gained from this workshop are to be opened when arriving at the relevant townships. By relaying the knowledge and intelligence, the capacity of the educational personnel in the management will be enabled to promote.

The prime minister is specially supporting to open the refresher courses for the teachers and educational staff for the development of education sector of the country. All private schools will need to renew registration in 2023. After the workshop, the collective efforts are demanded for the educational development of the country.

Next, the union minister met with the educational personnel attending the workshop and conducted mutual discussion on the implementation for the educational development at the relevant township and fulfilled requirements. Afterward, the union minister cordially greeted the trainees of township education head officer and assistant directors.

The workshop was attended by the union minister, permanent secretary Dr. Soe Win, directors general of the departments, deputy permanent secretaries, deputy directors general, directors, officials concerned, 135 township education head officers from the regions and states and 30 assistant directors. The workshop was held from 12th to 16th October, it’s learnt.
