Capable and Strong Army: SG discussed training of DSA, DSTA and Training Schools

A coordination meeting on training affairs of Defence Services Academy, Defence Services Technological Academy and Training Schools in PyiOoLwin Station on Sunday. Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the meeting and gave guidance.

The Senior General said it is needed to promote the three capacities of military units and Tatmadawmen to become a capable Army while installing and operating modern weapons to become a strong Army. Establishing a capable Army mainly concerned with the Tatmadaw and for the emergence of a strong Army, it is needed to implement by the state.

Among the world leaders, some prioritize the politics while some interest in promoting the defence power of the country. Based on the interest of the state leaders, the defence power of a certain country differs. The Senior General stressed that PwinOoLwin is the training ground for Tatmadaw, and it is needed to provide training to be excelled in respective subjects as well as to be well discipline.

It was followed by the reports of Coordinating Commander (Army, Navy, Air) Chief of Military Training Gen. Maung Maung Aye on the training affairs being implemented in Tatmadaw, training norms and standards of training schools and the requirements for promoting the physical and mental capacity of the trainees and future plans.

The Senior General made concluding remarks, stressing the needs to have security awareness, and to try to become role model leader for the trainees to become the qualified ones.
