Cane Ball Competition: Bago Region Chief Minister awarded the winners

Winners of Bago Chief Minister’s Shield Traditional Cane Ball Competition were awarded at a ceremony on 14th May.

Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win presented the medal, championship trophy and 700,000 kyats cash award to the first prize winning Bago District Team.

He also presented honorary awards to the Cane Ball Demonstration teams and individuals and coaches.

Thayawady District Team won second prize, and awarded with 500,000 kyats. Moreover, cash awards were presented to the best team, the best player and the most progressive player.

Four teams from Bago Region took part in the Cane Ball Competition which was held from 13th to 14th May.
