Britney Spears and partner announce miscarriage

Britney Spears on Saturday announced that she had lost a baby early in her pregnancy. She confirmed the loss in a joint Instagram post with her partner, Sam Asghari.

She gained her freedom from a court conservatorship that had controlled her life for more than a decade.

In April, she announced that she was expecting a child with Asghari. Spears and Asghari met on the set of her “Slumber Party” video in 2016.

She has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
