





The opening ceremony of AByar Bridge between milepost (75/0 to 75/1) on Yangon-Mawlamyaing Road in Waw Township was held in the morning on December 14 and the Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended and opened the bridge.At the ceremony, the Chief Minister said this AByar Bridge was built on the diversion of the dam and have damages due to the day and night traffic of express passenger buses and cargo trucks.
So, this bridge has been constructed as inbound bridge to Yangon from Mawlamyaing aiming at safety from the traffic incidents.Thanks to this bridge, the passengers can travel from Yangon to the southernmost townships in a short time and the local goods can flow swiftly to the border gates of Thailand.
It’s needed to protect and maintain the bridge for the long term use. Next, a local resident expressed words of thanks for the construction of the bridge and the region chief justice and officials opened the bridge by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and posed for the documentary group photo. The Chief Minister unveiled the bridge’s stone inscription by pressing the auto button, sprinkled with the scented water, viewed the bridge by walking along it and the provided cash of honor to the national races traditional culture group and the band.
Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected the 427 acres connected farm of green gram in Abyar Hghet Che Wun Village-tract, met with the local farmers, explained the agricultural inputs subsidized programs from the country’s economic promotion fund and gave necessary instructions to the officials, it’s reported.
