BRICS Agriculture Meeting in Indore

The BRICS Agriculture Working Group Meeting commenced on Tuesday in Indore, under India’s BRICS presidency. Representatives from BRICS nations and partner countries are discussing critical issues including food security, smart farming, climate-resilient agriculture, and enhancing farmers’ income.

Aligned with the theme “Building Teams for Resilience,” the meeting aims to strengthen cooperation for sustainable farming, agricultural innovation, and better utilization of natural resources. Emphasis is being placed on tackling climate change impacts and linking small farmers with modern technologies to ensure food and nutrition security.
