Brazil's Lula meets union leaders at campaign rally

Former leftist President of Brazil, and now presidential candidate, Lula held a rally in Sao Paulo with fellow politicians and union leaders Tuesday. The event served to formalize the political alliance between Lula's Worker's Party and the centrist party Solidarity, prior to the presidential elections. Chanting and waving flags, union leaders warmly received Lula who they believe will bring progressive change to the country. Politicians, including senators and deputies from different parties and regions of Brazil also attended the event to support and their shared desire to build a strong political alliance.
