Border Gates Affairs: Meeting to Open Myanmar-China New Gate and Temporary Gate

A coordination meeting was held on Tuesday afternoon to open a temporary Namsan-Kokant gate and new ChinShweHaw-Mingding gate in Myanmar-China border area.

In this meeting, Union Minister for Commerce Dr. Pwint San called for plans and discussions to open the temporary Namsan-Kokant BP-125 gate and new ChinShweHaw-Mingding gate to continue trade flow between Myanmar and China. The plans included opening the temporary gate in the old industrial zone near BP-125 as YanLoneKyaing Bridge repair is in progress.

Attendees discussed and reported on completion of border line measurement, requirements to open the temporary gate and new gate and ways to open the two gates as soon as possible. The Union Minister coordinated the discussions and reports.
