Boosting Tourism Industry: Ministry Of Hotels And Tourism Holds A Coordination Meeting

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism held a coordination meeting through social distancing at the Ministry on Tuesday with an address by Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Maung Maung Ohn.

At the meeting, the Union Minister said that the Ministry needs to carry out for ensuring better economy of the State based on the tourism and the tasks have to be implemented on the right way. The Union Minister also met officers and staffs with social distancing and so also through video conferencing in line with COVID-19 guidelines.

He called for the staffs to carry out the tasks of the ministry with concerted efforts and to cooperate in the future programs dutifully. He also pointed out that the staffs need to implement the tasks to have achievement in line with the policies of the Ministry and the State. 

The existing policies adopted by the Ministry and the tasks will be implemented to be better if these are compatible with the current polices.

In his conclusion remarks, the Union Minister called for the staffs to strive for boosting hotels and tourism industry with concerted efforts.
