Bilateral Relations: Union Minister Meets Chinese Chargé D’ Affaires

Union Minister for International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin received Charge' d' Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar Mrs. Li Xiaoyan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

At the meeting, Myanmar expressed her sympathy for the loss of lives of Chinese people due to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus which was first identified in Wuhan City of the People’s Republic of China and also expressed appreciations to the efforts and unity of Chinese government and its people for the response and control measures not to spread the disease.

The Union Minister also discussed plans to render necessary assistance by Myanmar in the Chinese Government’s implementations. Moreover, they also exchanged views on boosting bilateral relations and cooperation and so also the latest situation in Rakhine State.
