Bilateral cooperation: MoTC Union Minister received Nepalese Ambassador

Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San received Nepal Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Harishchandra Ghimire at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on October 21.

At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the operation of direct flights between Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon and Mandalay International Airports and Lumbini International Airport, extension for the fright operation of Lumbini-Gaya-Yangon-Mandalay-Nay Pyi Taw depending on the progress of tourism, signing a new contract of airways agreement, mutual trade of local products and the cooperation in the inland water transportation service in Nepal etc.

Also present at the meeting were the deputy minister for transport and communications U Aung Kyaw Tun, heads of departments and officials concerned, it’s learnt.
