Better Transportation: Road upgrading works in Taunggyi

Shan State Government is making efforts for better transportation facilities in Taunggyi by upgrading the downtown roads.

On Friday, Chief Minister U Aung Aung inspected the work implementation in the city. As part of the project, road upgrading works are being carried out along the road section from Ayeyawady Road Junction to Wah Pyar Road Junction.

The Chief Minister instructed for constant inspection and systematic maintenance works for betterment of transportation facilities. They then visited Ganaing Lake and viewed the beautifying works in the lake and its vicinity. They also inspected the tarred paving works along the road from Ganaing Lake to Kyaung Gyi Su, and upgrading of Sao San Tun Road.
