The basic sewing course is opened with the aim to help young people establish their own small businesses for increasing their income and improving their employment opportunities.
It is necessary to study and learn the basic lessons taught in the course with interest and to practice and learn to be able to enter the workplace through the basic sewing skills they have learned, it was said by Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr Aung Kyaw Min at the basic sew course that was held at the Government Technical High School in Sittway on Tuesday.
The course was opened by the State Elimination of Child Labour and Creating Employment Opportunities Work Committee and jointly organized by the Department of Labour and the Government Technical High School with the supervision of Rakhine State Government.
The Head of the Department of Labour in the State explained about the purposes of opening the course. 20 trainees are attending the course and teachers from the Government Technical High School will conduct practically and theoretically the course for one month.
