Bangladeshi PM arrives in Beijing for official visit

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Beijing by high-speed train on Wednesday, for a three-day official visit. Following his attendance at Summer Davos Summit in Dalian, he will hold high-level talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.

Discussions will be focused on deepening economic, political, and strategic cooperation, with major topics including the Teesta River project and the expansion of Chinese foreign direct investment into Bangladesh.
