BB Bamboo Product Cooperative Society is conducting Bamboo Handicrafts Training Courses. The Training courses are being conducted with the aim for creation of more job opportunities for locals and implementation of one product one village scheme. When bamboo related enterprises grow, the daily income of local people will increase.
Kyaw Win, Vice Chairman, BB Bamboo Product Cooperative Society, said " In our training schools, we invite the instructors for bamboo sculptures from Bagan and Bago to expand bamboo sculptures industries. Likewise, bamboo hats making training is being conducted by the instructors from Ngathaing Chaung to produce high quality of bamboo hats and this training course is conducted for the locals."
Vice Chairman of the BB Bamboo Product Cooperative Society also added that the training courses are targeted for the locals who can conduct multiplier courses on the subjects that they learnt at their related places. To get raw materials for bamboo products, the society has to only rely on the natural forests and it’s hard to get good raw materials. Currently, there is plan to cultivate bamboo. Likewise, the society is also trying to penetrate international markets and to earn foreign income.
The people who are interested in creating bamboo handicrafts, they can join the training courses which are conducted by BB Bamboo Product Cooperative Society in Zeyathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
