Bahrain/Brunei Sultan

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed on 10th June Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, on his arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain on an official visit. His Majesty the King and the kingdom's honorable guest were saluted by the Guard of Honor and students from the Ministry of Education.

His Majesty's State Visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain reflects the strong bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Bahrain, as this year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries since its establishment on 24th September 1988. The State Visit will also further boost bilateral cooperation in various fields of common interest including investment and finance, as well as defence.
