Back Home: SAC Chairman and delegation arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw

Myanmar high-level delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left for Myanmar via Irkutsk Airport on Sunday afternoon.

They were seen off at the airport by Governor of Irkutsk Oblast Mr. Igor Ivanovich Kobzev and party, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia, the Military Attache` and officials. During the trip, the Prime Minister attended the 7th Eastern Economic Forum and met with Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin as well as held meetings with officials from the Russian Government, and the Governors and Heads of Primorsky Krai, the Republic of Buryatia and Irkutsk Oblast, made study tour to the prominent places, universities, factories and workshops.

Members of the delegation the Union Ministers, the Deputy Ministers and officials also held discussions for the related sectors, benefiting the economic sector of the state and strengthening friendship, and cooperation between the two governments and its people.

The Prime Minister and party arrived back in Myanmar in the evening, and they were welcomed at Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, SAC members and their wives, the Union Ministers, senior military officials from the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office and their wives, Deputy Chief of Mission of Russian Embassy in Myanmar and officials.

Moreover, the Prime Minister and delegation were welcomed by the national races youths, traditional dance troupes and local residents at the airport and along the airport entrance road, as they take honour for the high-level Myanmar delegation for their efforts for creating opportunities in promoting bilateral friendly relations, and cooperation in economic, health and education sectors.
