Awareness Discussion: MCRD held Anti-corruption awareness discussion

The anti-corruption awareness and discussion session, jointly organized by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development and the Anti-Corruption Commission, was held in the collective meeting hall of the Ministry. Union Minister U Hla Moe attended and delivered a speech.

In his address, Union Minister U Hla Moe stated that by holding these anti-corruption prevention awareness and discussion sessions, attendees would gain knowledge about the laws, procedures, notifications, and directives issued by the Commission, the negative consequences of corruption, and methods for prevention. He expressed his gratitude to the Commission's Chairman and responsible officials.

Following this, the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, U Lwin Oo, delivered a speech. Then, the Director-General and responsible officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission gave presentations and held discussions on relevant topics. They also responded to and discussed questions from the attending staff members regarding matters they wished to learn about.

Subsequently, a meeting was held in the Union Minister's Office meeting hall, led by Commission Member Dr. Tun Tun Oo, with members of the Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development. They mutually explained and discussed the experiences encountered in the work of the prevention units, their strengths, weaknesses, and review presentations.
