Awarding Ceremony: Storytelling and Poetry Recitation Competition

A ceremony to award winners of the Storytelling and Poetry Recitation Competition, part of the School Libraries Development and Reading Promotion Campaign, was held on October 29 in Hakha.

Chin State Chief Minister (Acting), Brig-Gen Khin Maung Htway, said the event was organized under the guidance of the Head of State and aimed to promote reading habits among students.

He emphasized that reading helps people gain knowledge, think wisely, and develop good character and confidence, which are important for future leaders of the country. Prizes and certificates were then presented to first, second, and third-place winners in different competition levels.
