Awarding Ceremony: Outstanding students in matriculation exams honoured

A ceremony was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday, to honour the top students who excelled in the 2025 matriculation exam with all distinctions and highest marks.

On behalf of the Chairman of State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commission Vice Chairman, Vice Senior General Soe Win attended the event at Zeyathiri Beikman. In his speech, the Vice Senior General stressed the role of talented youths in development of a nation, and betterment of the society.

He emphasized the need to have high education standard in building a democratic nation, so as to fully implement the democratic system. He also praised the efforts of the students who retook the matriculation exams due to the impact of powerful Mandalay earthquake.

He urged all to strive for establishement of quality guranteed education system, nurturing the outstanding youths who can contribute to the development of the nation.

This was followed by presenting of honourary awards to the outstanding students. This year have over 48% passing rate of matriculation exam with 196 students, achieving distinctions in all subjects. A tical gold coil was awarded to each students with all distinctions and top students in each subject. Plans are underway to send the study tour to foreign countries.
