Awarding Ceremony: MoSYA organized Inter-ministry traditional Games

The 3rd place match and final match of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Cup Inter-ministry tug of war (Men and Women) competitions and traditional Game or Htote Si Htoe (Border Crossing Game) Women were held at the training field of Wunna Theikdi Stadium on Tuesday.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs marking the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023. In the third place matches of tag of war (Men) competition, the Ministry of Home Affairs team beat the team of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union office and in the women competition, the Ministry of Home Affairs Team defeated the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement team.

In the men final match, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs Team beat the Ministry of Defence team and in the women event, the Ministry of Sports and Youths Affairs team defeated the Union Civil Service Board team, respectively. In the Htote Si Htoe (Women) third place event, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation team won the Ministry of Science and Technology team.

In the final match, the Ministry of Home Affairs team beat the Ministry of Sports and Youths Affairs team. After the competitions, the prize awarding ceremony followed where officials, deputy ministers and Union Minister U Min Thein Zan presented cash awards and prizes to the winning teams in the respective categories.
