Awarding Ceremony: Inter-Universities (Men/Women) Football Tournament

Final Matches of 2024-2025 Academic Year Inter-Universities (Men/Women) Football Tournament was held at Zeyathiri Football Ground in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday with the attendance of Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein, officials and students. During the final match of men football event, Pathein Zone team beat Mawlamyine Zone Team with the score of 6-5 on Penalties after a goalless draw in regular time.

At the award ceremony, the Rectors and Directors-General presented medals and cash of honor to winners including best players, individuals and teams. Afterwards, Deputy Minister Dr Zaw Myint presented trophy, individual medals and cash of honor to winning team in women event, Pathein Zone, while Union Minister Dr Chaw Chaw Sein awarded trophy, individual medals and cash of honor to winning team in men event, Pathein Zone, and cash of honor to the referees.
