If not success, we’ll be export it using border trade route. "

For the local market, the price decreased from 10,000 kyats per Kg in 2020 to around 5,000 kyats in this year. The sale percentage in Yangon and Mandalay is 80%.

Kyaw Soe Min, Joint secretary, Myanmar Avocado Producer and Exporters Associations (MAVO) said "In 2020, the avocado price is 10,000 kyats per Kg. Then, it decreased to 8,000 kyats per Kg in 2021. So, we expected to sell with 5,000 or 6,000 kyats per Kg for this year. Due to the pandemic, the local sale rate is saved for Farmers. We’ll try to expand the local market. "
