Aviation Training Course: Five-week training course opened in Loikaw

The Basic Aviation Youth Training Course No. 10 opened on Monday morning at the Kayah State Hall in Loikaw.

Chief Minister U Aunt Maw attended the opening ceremony, and made a speech, encouraging the trainees to make effective use of their time, build unity and strive for excellence, and presented cash awards for the course.

The Chief Minister and party then warmly greeted the trainees and viewed training materials on display. The Basic Aviation Youth Training Course aims to promote interest in aviation and aerospace through the study of aviation history and science, support national defence and develop discipline, health, teamwork and human resources for nation-building.

The five-week course was jointly organized by the Office of the Commander in Chief (Air), Kayah State Government and Loikaw Regional Control Command. It will run from April 27 to May 29 at training camps in Loikaw, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory and Yangon, with 55 trainees from Kayah State.
