Autumn Festival: Ngapali Beach Autumn Festival Opened With A Ceremony

The opening ceremony of Ngapali Beach Autumn Festival was held at Paradise Hotel at Ngapali Beach in the morning on 14th November and the Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung gave an opening speech. At the opening ceremony, the girls from Thantwe, Taunggoke and Gwe Townships entertained with Rakhine traditional dances.

In his opening speech, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism said that the Ngapali Autumn Festival was held in 2019. This year, Ngapali Beach Autumn Festival is held with the aims of showcasing a symbol of a stable and peaceful Rakhine State, depending on dropping infection of COVID-19 and public relaxation with fresh mind.

The festival will be held for five days and the union minister wished all the locals and tourists to join in the competitions on sand bank and Myanmar traditional fairs included in the festivals.

Then, the Chief Minister of Rakhine State Government Dr. Aung Kyaw Min said that Ngapali Beach is a major tourist resort in Rakhine State and most famous beach in Myanmar. It has been described as the virgin beach of Asia. It is an auspiciousness to open the Ngapali Beach Autumn Festival for tourists from home and abroad.

Afterward, Rakhine State Government Minister for Economic Affairs U San Shwe Maung clarified the purpose of holding Ngapali Beach Autumn Festival, U Phoe Yi Aung from Hoteliers Association (Rakhine Zone) extended words of thanks and group photo section with the participants was conducted. At the second part of opening ceremony for Ngapali Beach Autumn Festival, the union minister, Rakhine State Chief Minister, commander of regional command, state minister for economic affairs and representative of hoteliers association opened the festival by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

The union minister, Rakhine State Chief Minister, commander of regional command views the performances and presented cash of honor to the performers.
