Aus Labor Party officially launches campaign ahead of election

The leader of Australia's opposition Labor party urged the country to "vote for a better future" as the party launched its campaign on Sunday ahead of the election later this month.

At the party's official launch in Perth, Anthony Albanese set out five key areas he said Labor would be focusing on.

Those included investment in renewable energy, investing to ensure more products are made in Australia, additional funding for infrastructure, a focus on jobs and training, and pledges for health care which included making medicines cheaper.
