Audit Activities: UAG Addresses Coordination Meeting (2/2025)

The coordination meeting (2/2025) on audit activities of the Union Auditor-General's Office was held on Thursday in a Hybrid format at the Union Auditor-General's Office.

At the meeting, Union Auditor-General Dr. Khin Naing Oo stated that it is necessary to audit the financial statements, compliance, and performance of government departments and organizations in accordance with the audit plan and to manage the timely issuance of audit findings reports.

Necessary preparations must be made in advance for expanding IT Audits. She also stressed the need for joint collaboration with the headquarters on training programs for enhancing staff performance, and for conducting practical and integrated training.

Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of timely issuance of quality reports, promptly submitting important audit findings and matters requiring immediate action, and ensuring information security. During the coordination meeting, participants discussed and presented matters related to auditing, personnel management and training, encountered difficulties, solutions implemented, and future work to be undertaken.
