ASEAN+3: Finance and Central Bank Deputies’ Meeting

Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar [CBM] Dr. Lin Aung joined the virtual ASEAN+3 Finance and Central Bank Deputies’ Meeting.

At the meeting, the International Monetary Fund-IMF presented the global macroeconomic outlook, the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office-AMRO the regional macroeconomic outlook, and the Asian Development Bank-ADB the financing of sustainable development in ASEAN+3. And, the ASEAN+3 Finance and Central Bank Deputies exchanged their views.

The CBM Deputy Governor Dr. Lin Aung took part in the discussion, presenting the economic and financial situation of Myanmar. ASEAN+3 future initiatives, the Chiang Mai initiative multi-lateralization and the Asian bond markets initiative were also discussed at the meeting.
