Art Exhibition: 2nd Edition Organized By Thuwunna Bumi Lovers

Thuwunna Bumi 2 Art Exhibition organized by Thuwunna Bumi Lovers is being displayed at Myanmar Artists Organization-Central Art Gallery in Yangon, Thursday.

It is the 2nd edition exhibited by Myanmar Artists Organization Tha Hton Township, aiming to recollect faded artists and to nurture new generation artists from Mon State.

Organizer, Artist Aung Moe said “Thuwunna Bumi is our native town. We formed Thuwunna Bumi Lovers with 15 artists last year and organized Thuwunna Bumi Art Exhibition for the first time. After that, Myanmar Artists Organization Tha Hton Township was established with those members. The 2nd show is now exhibited by more native artists that we’ve recollected from the cities of Mon State.”

Totaling 80 paintings of 30 artists from Mon State are on display at this exhibition. The paintings displayed at the show are in kind of water color, acrylic and oil.

Organizer, Artist Aung Moe said “The artists display their paintings depicting a variety of scenic spots and vibrant culture of Myanmar. This can attract to the art enthusiasts. Also we will organize such kind of exhibitions by collecting more native artists from Mon State and have plans to try for turning out new generation artists as well.”

Thuwunna Bumi 2 Art Exhibition is running from 28th August to 1st of September at MAOC Art Gallery in Bogyoke Market.
