Appointment of NSA: President appointed U Tin Aung San as NSA

The President’s Office of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued an Order No 47/2026 appointed the National Security Advisor, on April 22, 2026.

The order stated that the Union Minister for the Ministry of the President’s Office, U Tin Aung San has been appointed as the National Security Advisor to enable multi-faceted study, review, and recommendations on national security matters to the President and the Office of the President. The order was signed by the President U Min Aung Hlaing of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
