State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued Order No (7/2021) on appointment and assignment of Chairman of UEC and members on 2nd February.

U Thein Soe is appointed by the State Administration Council as the Chairman and U Thaung Tin, U Than Tun, U Kyauk, U Aung Saw Win and U Than Win as members of the Union Election Commission in accordance with Article 419 of the State Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The order was signed by Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway.
