APEC leaders meet APEC Business Advisory Council

Leaders from the 21 economies that comprise the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum met in Bangkok with representatives from business advisory councils from across the Asia Pacific region on Friday, against a backdrop of major global challenges impacting the global economy.Particular areas of concern for the business leaders include inflation and climate change, as well as food security.

The APEC gathering is the third back-to-back meeting of world leaders this week after the summits of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations last week in Cambodia and the Group of 20 leading economies, which wrapped up Wednesday in Indonesia.
