More than 100 participants from Japan and abroad have applied to become ninjas at an annual certification test in western Japan. The Koka-ryu Ninja Certification Tests are organized every year by a research group in Shiga Prefecture's Koka city. About 130 people aged between 9 and 76 took the tests on Sunday. Successful applicants will receive hand-scroll certificates at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels.
