Announcement No. 62/2025: UEC released Announcement No. 62/2025

The Union Election Commission (UEC) released an Announcement No. 62/2025 on Dates for Overseas Voters to collect and submit Form (15) at Relevant Embassies, on August 21.

In the announcement, it’s stated that the Union Election Commission (UEC) has announced that Part (1) of the General Election will be held on 28 December 2025 (Sunday).

In accordance with Section 82 (a) of the relevant Hluttaw Election Law, the   overseas voters may begin collecting Form (15) from 21 August 2025 at the respective embassies. Form (15) can also be downloaded from the Union Election Commission website, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, and the respective embassy websites. The Dates to submit completed Form (15) for advance voting by overseas voters to the respective embassies are from 21 August 2025 to 8 September 2025. The announcement was signed by the Chairman of UEC U Than Soe.
