Families of missing people from South Korea's Halloween crowd surge wailed in grief at a local community service center as they went to file reports of those who were missing.
Earlier in the day, the government set up the temporary office to receive reports of missing people from the accident.
People could also file missing reports by phone. At least 151 people, mostly in their teens and 20s, died after getting trapped and crushed after a huge Halloween party crowd surged into a narrow alley in a nightlife district in Seoul.
While Halloween isn't a traditional holiday in South Korea, where children rarely go trick-or-treating, it's still a major attraction for young adults, and costume parties at bars and clubs have become hugely popular in recent years.
