




China’s central bank has renewed and expanded its bilateral currency swap agreement with Malaysia.The People’s Bank of China raised the swap amount from 180 billion yuan to 220 billion yuan, equivalent to about 130 billion Malaysian ringgit.The five-year agreement aims to strengthen financial cooperation, increase the use of local currencies in trade and investment, and support financial market stability.
