Amyotha Hluttaw: 12th day meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

12th day meeting of the 3rd regular session of the Amyotha Httutaw was held on Thursday morning at the Httutaw building in Nay Pyi Taw, attended by Deputy Speaker Jeng Phang Naw Taung, along with 193 out of 209 representatives.

During the session, Hluttaw representatives raised questions regarding with transportation obstacle in Ywangan Township, Danu Self-Administered Zone’s and provision allowances for education personnel, dredging of Daka river which is a major water way of  YayKyi, Kyonpyaw and Kyaung Kone townships of Ayeyawady Region, implementation of retaining Wall to prevent impact of Chindwin River bank erosion at Mya Thein Tan Pagoda’s surrounding area, air route schedule of Hpa-An airport, and construction of International Port in Thanintharyi Region where potential  Free Trade Zone (FTZ) would be emerged, benefiting the local community.

The questions were answered by Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue U Kyaw Htin and Deputy Minister for Transport U Tun Luu. It is learnt that the 13th day of the Amyotha Hluttaw is scheduled on November 2.
