The 14th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China 2022, opened on Tuesday in Zhuhai city in Guangdong province.

The airshow, scheduled for Nov. 8 to 13, boasts an indoor exhibition area of 100,000 square meters as well as more than 100 airplanes displayed outdoor. The event was kicked off with a series of stunts by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force's veteran Bayi, or August 1, aerobatic team.

The J-20 is China's indigenous fourth-generation medium- and long-range fighter jet. China's first home-developed trunk jetliner C919 made its first public appearance at the airshow with 15 minutes flying over the airshow venue.
