Agriculture Sector: Union Minister Inspects Sugar Mill and Sugarcane Farms

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo on Monday in Yedashey Township met with owners of sugar mills and sugarcane growers.

There, the Union Minister stressed the importance of research and pledged to provide assistance for the mills owners and sugarcane growers. Also, officials explained the situation of sugar production and sugarcane farming situation in the country while the mills owner and sugarcane growers reported on difficulties, challenged and requirements. After the meeting, the Union Minister inspected MyoeHla Sugar Mill and sugarcane farms.
