Agriculture Sector Development: Monsoon agricultural loans disbursed to farmers

Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank (Hpa-An) provided monsoon agricultural loans for 2023 to the farmers who have repaid their debts.

In this monsoon season, Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank will disburse more than 3.7 billion kyats of agricultural loans to farmers from 3rd week of May to the end of September.

On 23rd of May, the bank has disbursed over 1.4 billion kyats to 144 farmers for 961 acres of monsoon paddy cultivation in 6 village-tracts in Hpa-An and Hlaingbwe Townships, Kayin State.
