Agriculture Development: 150 drum seeders distributed to farmers in Bago

The Bago Region Government held a ceremony at Bago City Hall on Friday to distribute 150 drum seeders to farmers from Bago, Waw, Thanatpin, and Kawa townships. Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the ceremony and gave a speech.

He highlighted that using drum seeders can reduce labor costs and increase efficiency, allowing farmers to plant over 4 acres per day and harvest crops 10 to15 days earlier than traditional methods.

He encouraged farmers to use the machines effectively and share knowledge with others to boost crop yields. Demonstrations of the drum seeders and paddy planting machines produced in Bago Region were also displayed during the event.
