Agricultural Machinery: Meeting on production of agricultural machinery

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than attended and delivered an opening speech at a meeting to ensure the production of high-quality agricultural machinery, including hand-held rice transplanters, and to improve manufacturing processes, held at the meeting hall of Ministry of Industry in Nay Pyi Taw on 7th August.

In his opening speech, the Union Minister for Industry said the discussion was being held with members of the advisory board and the technical committee to provide necessary technical support for agricultural machinery, including hand-held rice transplanters.

The goal is to effectively and efficiently use this technology in the field to improve agricultural production. Following this, the Union Minister for Energy, U Ko Ko Lwin, also delivered a speech.

Afterward, the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, Directors-General from related ministries, the Managing Director, the Chief Engineer, and other attendees offered suggestions on producing high-quality, lightweight, and durable agricultural machinery. The Union Minister gave a speech conclusion before the meeting was concluded.
