Agricultural Development : Meeting for boosting cultivation in Tanai Township

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan on Thursday attended a meeting to discuss agricultural progress in Tanai Township.

The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s two-year plan to support seed distribution and expand farmland, which has helped Tanai achieve 96% rice sufficiency in the first year.

Local farmers reported on their efforts in cultivating 1,200 acres of rice and plans to grow mustard crops for the winter season. Officials pledged to support farmers with quality seeds, fertilizers, and land development, aiming to further improve food security and productivity in the region.
