Agricultural Development : Follow-up actions from national-level workshop

A coordination meeting was held on October 2, at the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) to discuss follow-up actions from the national-level workshop titled “From Agricultural Development to National Productivity Growth,” held on September 21 and 22.

The meeting focused on ways to support agricultural development, including issuing financial guidelines for agricultural and livestock loans, providing loan support, establishing an agriculture-based Blended Finance fund, developing a comprehensive digital platform for easier agricultural lending, and improving digital payment systems.

Participants also discussed the five-year implementation plan for 2026–27 to 2030–31, including annual implementation targets, financing arrangements, performance indicators, and responsibilities of relevant organizations.
