Advance Voting: Ballots of overseas voters hands over to the UEC

On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed over the advance voting ballots of Myanmar citizens living abroad to the Union Election Commission.

For the 2025 Multiparty Democracy General Election, advance voting arrangements were made for Myanmar citizens residing overseas, with polling stations opened on designated dates at 50 Myanmar embassies, permanent missions, and consulates-general.

The ballots collected from these overseas missions were formally transferred to the Union Election Commission by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
